Grand Valley is one of Stunio's four signed West Michigan partners, alongside GRCC, Calvin, and Baker College — and the anchor of the region. Grand Rapids is the center of gravity for our fall launches, and GVSU students benefit from every employer any school in the region brings on, while GVSU's scale and health sciences programs lead the regional employer push.

Where employer outreach starts for Grand Valley, and what it asks of your team (very little).
GVSU's focus areas for fall:
Warm introductions: GVSU introduces us to your existing employer relationships and Stunio runs it from there. No outreach lift on your side unless you want to be involved. When an employer calls the Career Center looking for short-term help, just point them at us — we handle the rest, including all pricing conversations.
The regional cohort with GRCC, Calvin, and other area colleges — championed from GVSU — meets on a recurring basis to share ideas and approach employers together. Every employer any school brings on benefits Lakers too. First session: healthcare-themed, date TBD.
Outreach covers both sides of GVSU: Allendale-area employers for the main campus, and downtown Grand Rapids employers around the Pew and Health campuses — where the regional launches concentrate the most employer density.
Useful to know given the healthcare focus.
Two options, configurable per job: a Yardstick basic national check (felonies and sex-offender, roughly 10 to 15 minutes) and a LARA fingerprint check for medical and education roles (more thorough, slower).
The simple answer to the cost question, for anyone on your team an employer asks.
Employers start at $0. There's no cost to create an account, post opportunities, or get started. They pay only when work actually happens: a service fee of 5% to 35% on the student's pay rate, which covers everything Stunio runs, including matching, scheduling, verification, same-day student payment, compliance, and support. Employers on a custom subscription see reduced service fees, typically 5% to 20%. Students always receive the full posted rate, with no posting fees, no recruiting fees, and no payroll to run.
Optional features are simple monthly add-ons. Employers who want additional features, such as remote job postings, micro-internships, or flexibly scheduled jobs, add them as monthly options. Depending on what features an employer elects to utilize, these typically run between $10 and $150 per month. Our team handles all pricing conversations so your team doesn't have to.
Enterprise subscriptions are always an in-depth conversation. Larger organizations, like health systems and large corporations, have different needs entirely (integrations, compliance, dedicated service, subscription plans that can include a reduced service fee) and work with us directly on the right setup. Either way, the ask for your team is the same: send them our way and we handle the conversation.
Pricing details are being finalized and will be posted here. Until then, send employers with cost questions directly to us and we'll handle it. Universities and students never pay anything. That doesn't change.
No hard dates except where stated. We set the pace together.
Bring questions. Nothing here is finished until it works for your office.
Done. Every Laker signs in with their existing GVSU credentials — no separate account to create.
Healthcare first, then manufacturing, events and hospitality. GVSU introduces us to existing employer relationships and Stunio handles all the outreach from there — coordinated with GRCC, Calvin, and Baker so no employer hears from two schools.
The regional work group with GRCC, Calvin, and the other area colleges: shared learnings, employer coordination, one region moving together. First session is healthcare-themed; date TBD.
Individual accounts for each team member with your real dashboard and data, plus marketing and student messaging sessions. Maria will reach out on customizing materials to Grand Valley's brand.
We set the date together. No pressure to have every employer or every student on day one. We take this at the pace that works.
When you're ready. None of this is homework with a deadline.
Just point them at us. That's the whole ask. Your team never manages employer relationships on Stunio. That's our job.
